I wanted to be like that but I didn't understand that I was the creator of my own confidence. I was married and became a mother at the age of 22. Over the next ten years, my husband and I welcomed 5 amazing humans into our home. Being a stay-at-home mother for 28 years was the hardest and best thing that I have ever done. I wouldn't trade it for the world. When I hit my 50’s, I found myself entering a new season of life, empty-nesting. I had spent almost three decades caring and serving others. Now that my role was changing, I began to wonder what my purpose was. I wondered if I even had anything to offer in this new phase in life. That is when I found life coaching. I have come to realize that life isn't over at 50. What I thought was a mid-life crisis was actually a mid-life awakening and it is awesome! Instead of believing life is over, I have embraced the beauty of living life to its fullest and the failure that comes with it. I am no longer afraid of failing because on the other side of it is learning and becoming more of who I want to be.
