Skotte Group is a new consultancy practice providing strategy, program and transaction management services to our clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Co-designed Queensland Rail’s enterprise transformation program (including both ‘Case for Change’ and ‘Detailed Design’), now known as ‘Ready for Growth’. This is to help Queensland Rail over the coming decade prepare for the most significant transformation in its history by ensuring it is ready to address the fundamental shift required to deliver a high-capacity, modern and efficient railway.As part of the ‘Execution Phase’ and Wave 1 of the Program, I was then responsible for ‘Lifting the Operational Performance’ of the business to support enterprise outcomes/targets.The focus for this was on the development of various operational strategies (leveraging digital twin technology), instilling of operational discipline to achieve incentive contracted and performance level thresholds, and enhancing personnel assignment.

Headed up Strategic Operations for the business. Led 30+ highly skilled rail experts specialising in strategic integrated planning, master train planning, traincrew job card development, data analytics and operational readiness.Reported to the Group Executive for Strategy, Planning and Transformation.

- Led the Citytrain Reponse Unit on behalf of Independent Chair Jacqui Walters- Provided assurance to Government that Queensland Rail and Department of Transport and Main Roads successfully delivered on the intent of all 36 Strachan Inquiry recommendations- Oversaw and managed a number of highly skilled transport specialists, consultants and core team within the Citytrain Response UnitPrior to this, I successfully delivered the Train crewing practices - Commission of Inquiry on behalf of Phillip Strachan.

- Was a TransLink leadership team member, helping shape the future of Public Transport for Queensland- Developed and led various strategic and policy related transport initiatives- Responsibility for an annual Rail operating budget of $1.6bn+- Led various teams of transport contract managers and planning specialists- Represented the Department on numerous Steering Committees and cross agency governance arrangements- Successfully delivered multi-billion dollar transactions on behalf of the Department and the State

- Was the key commercial partner to the business with an annual operating budget of $1.2bn+- Developed and project managed a number of policy initiatives and commercial/funding business cases- Was accountable for procurement within the business and treasury interface with Government- Was key negotiation lead on a number of large commercial transactions- Led the structuring and financial engineering of various initiatives

- Financial responsibility for numerous residential, commercial and industrial un-listed managed funds- Gross realisable value of $850m+- Responsible for delivering annual reports, investor tax statements and regular investor reports- Prepared both annual budgets and rolling forecasts for each fund and the responsible entity

- Responsible for all statutory reporting requirements- Managed investment portfolio on behalf of both Australian and NZ operations- Accountable for both budgeting and forecast reporting of business- Lead a small team of finance and accounting professionals
