I am Seattle Sutton, of Marseilles, Ill., I founded the company to help improve people’s eating habits and continue this mission to this day.I received a bachelor's of science degree in nursing from Jamestown College, North Dakota, in 1954. I also earned my R.N. designation the same year. Upon finishing Jamestown College, I married my husband, who became the town’s physician in Marseilles, Ill., where we raised five children and still reside today. For twenty-two years, I raised my five children and also worked as a registered nurse in my husband’s medical practice, until he retired in 1991. My idea to start SSHE was born from my work with patients in my husband’s medical practice. Our company’s dedication to health continues today, since it is the founding principal the company was built upon -- to improve eating habits and overall health.
