As an essential member of the 'Northern Innovation Hub', I was responsible for the development and delivery of a portfolio of flagship projects tasked with growing digital adoption within tourism SME's across the Highlands and Islands. These projects included: 'Let's Grow Adventure Tourism' - A programme of one-to-one and group support, fast-tracking growth of SME's within the Adventure Tourism sector.I secured extra funding to expand the programme beyond the Highland Council to cover the whole Highlands and Islands.I was instrumental in identifying and adopting suitable digital platforms for online delivery during Covid-19 lockdowns. The programme grew to include over 100 SME's and became an instrumental support network throughout Covid-19. 'Tune into Tourism' - A programme of chat show style live webinars covering topical tourism content from across the Highlands and Islands.I provided initial theme ideas and content for each series, including lists of potential guests and key questions.I was instrumental in adopting new technologies and methods to grow both reach and engagement throughout Covid-19.Close collaboration with HIE's internal marketing team to design and deliver effective social media and email campaigns.
