At present I am a member of McCareySimmonds consultancy team that is able to action each stage of the project, from conceptual design to preparation of final AutoCAD detailing.My main tasks are:- Interpreting design briefs taking account of structural stability, durability, aesthetic and cost.Designing of structural forms, including foundation and retaining walls, using analysis methods (Eurocodes).- Modelling of unbraced and braced frames by structural analysis software.- AutoCAD drafting showing floors and roofs arrangements and steel connections and detailing.

- Coordinating and preparing Statements of Work, Purchase Initiation orders, Sole Source Justifications, Term of References and contracts.- Maintaining equipment procurement and issuing records.- Providing logistical support to TSN meetings (Booking flights, accommodations and conference rooms).

Professional internship: Graduate engineer for UK civil and structural engineering consultancy, McCarey Simmonds Ltd - Istanbul - Turkey.During this internship I was working on:- Design based on quantitative use of the Eurocodes, and qualitative approach to structural stability.- Design by using computer frame analysis and its appropriate application and AutoCAD drafting.- Develop broader communication skills by providing remote design assistance to the main UK office.
