Argentine film director and producer, he graduated from the Universidad del Cine (FUC) with a Bachelor's Degree in Film Directing, a Teaching Degree in Cinematography, and a Technical Degree in Lighting and Camera. Currently, he is an adjunct professor of Directing II at FUC. His career began as a cameraman and editor in feature films, experiences that laid the foundation for his future vision as a director and producer. His first successes came with short films such as El Rey Toto, co-directed with his twin brother Nicolás, which won first prize at the Rosario Latin American Film Festival, and Masi me tiro, which achieved international acclaim and led him to the Berlinale Talent Campus in 2003. In 2002, he participated in the international project Retratos Cruzados, creating the documentary short Téléphonez a Elvis in Montreal, which won awards at festivals in Canada and Argentina.In 2004, he founded Cactus Cine, a leading production company in the creation of premium content for platforms such as Nat Geo, Netflix, Al Jazeera, ESPN, and Red Bull Media House. This step allowed him to develop as a creative producer, standing out with El Camino del Vino, which won the FIPRESCI award at the Mar del Plata Film Festival and was selected for festivals in Berlin and San Sebastián. He ventured into international co-productions with The Duel of Wine and Sangre en la boca, the latter acquired by Netflix Worldwide in 2018. In the documentary field, he has developed a prolific career. Beirut, Buenos Aires, Beirut was acquired by Al Jazeera and won Best Documentary at the International Latin Arab Film Festival. With Red Bull Media House, he produced Generations: Salsa and has covered the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos since 2012. His recent projects include the series Ara San Juan: The Submarine That Disappeared, a Netflix original series with over 4 million views in its first weeks, and Una Canción para mi Tierra, which won at the 2024 Biarritz Festival. As a director, he has helmed documentary series such as Somos Futboleros (winner of the ATVC and Deportea Awards) and Soldados de Paz, which addresses the work of the UN Peacekeepers in Haiti and Cyprus. He was also one of the directors of the series Presidents of Latin America, a documentary series based on interviews with leaders from over 10 countries in the region. He is currently in post-production on Yogacharini, his first feature-length documentary filmed in India, co-directed with Mauricio Albornoz Iniesta.
