TouchBase uses AI to help bizdev people increase the engagement with their contacts and build relationships. It scans your emails, LinkedIn messages, company documents, and the web and knows which topics interest your contacts. When it finds something you could use to connect with them, it alerts you and helps you write a message, allowing you to be top of mind, which is crucial for finding opportunities.

I handled the business operations. That included Sales, Marketing and Business Development. I also helped the CEO with the company strategy, served as advisor and helped with recruiting.

During the time I was CEO, the company changed a lot:- we grew 2x in terms of people- we put a lot of effort in human resources to make that possible: defining policies, getting feedback, giving feedback, finding the best way to attract talent, etc- we started to build a brand to be known locally- we grew 2.5x in terms of revenue- we did some key hires and built a new management team- we created a business development area- we did a major marketing rebrand- we worked a lot analyzing the company strategy and managing its risks- we diversified the sales channels- we diversified the customers- we restructured the administrative department- we set up a new office improving a lot our working environment

Founded a Startup that allowed end users to create their own websites. That endeavor failed but from those mistakes I learned a lot about how to manage a business, and how to define, build and market a product.This intense period allowed me to acquire a lot of new skills and identify and improve some weaknesses.
