Vitreq is a Medical device company specialised in eye-surgery equipment. My work encompasses various stages, from initial design concepts to final production and quality control. As a product engineer I'm responsible for the design, development, and manufacturing of medical devices. I'm responsible for the entire product lifecycle, ensuring that the devices meet regulatory requirements, are safe and effective, and manufactured efficiently. My work combines technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration to create high-quality medical devices that improve patient care.

RFID technology has been used for money transfers for a while. Secrid has developed a line of wallets to protect your cards from scamming. As a designer I worked on the mechanics the production process and display materials. The assembly was done at a sheltered workshop where people with a disability can participate. I developed tools to improve processes (dfmea, pfmea).

MM bicycles is the manufacturer of bicycles, E-bikes, cargo bikes and many other forms of transportation. Sub assemblies are made in Taiwan and shipped for final assembly in the Netherlands. I got the opportunity to move to the factory in Taiwan and assist in the design and production of vehicles. I designed bicycle frames, E-bikes, Cargo bikes, balance bikes for children etc. Besides designing I was responsible for sourcing the needed parts, starting up production lines, checking quality and supervising shipping.

LEEV Mobility – founded 2009 - is involved in the development and marketing of innovative light electrical vehicles for individual mobility in short and medium range. Applications include inner city mobility, My role as Design engineer was to design and engineer all electric vehicles. After completing the technical specifications, I moved forward and set up a production line in Asia. Checking quality, making sure consumers had a good quality product.

Springtime is a young and creative force that creates exciting and paradigm-shifting products, experiences and brands in the areas of automotive design, mobility, sports, interior, public design and brand development. My role as design engineer was to develop consumer products based on concepts and moodboards. Cad modeling, prototyping, and sourcing suppliers were part of the job description

During my minor I worked for a student run design agency. One of my projects was to redesign a identification pillar to aid truckers in the dutch harbor. A working model has been revealed by mayor Aboutaleb and has won the second prize www.kennisbruggen.nl. After graduating I continued to work on the project to get it ready for production. Several pillars have been placed at different locations at the rotterdam harbour.
