Serves as the Battalion Unit Ministry Team (UMT) NCO; responsible for the coordination of the Command Master Religious Program, responsible for post-level religious services; ensures the logistical day-to-day operations of the chaplains office; accounts for UMT equipment and ecclesiastical supplies valued at over $250,000; ensures all equipment is ready for field operations; assists with casualty ministry and combat stress control.

Continuously ensures safety and security of inmates, staff, visitors, and the public; facilitates and protects the Constitutional rights of all persons, including, but not limited to; access to medical and dental care, law library, religious activities, legal representation, and due process.
