Responsible for the logistics of Steve Madden and Cole Haan brands in the CEE region.• Strategically planning and managing all the logistics processes for a distribution companyoperating in retail, wholesale, and eCommerce channels• Managing daily distribution activities including: shipping, receiving, inventory control• Collaborating with 3PL providers for warehouse and transport services, managing sitetransport requirements in terms of speed, cost, and security• Building and maintaining relationships with strategic customers through logisticsinitiatives• Recommending optimal transportation models to meet the company needs and budgets• Negotiating contracts with suppliers related to transport, and warehousing• Managing product import/export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory andcustoms requirements• Resolving problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, import or exports, aswell as wholesale customer issues• Collaborating with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems andprocesses, such as customer service, order management and accounting• Initiating, planning, and implementing new projects in the supply chain area• Building and monitoring the logistics budget according to business strategy, working withFinance team and Logistics vendors to track monthly logistics expense, providing theanalysis to the Board• Evaluating the performance of vendors/service providers and managing partners toachieve or exceed contractual KPI levels
