Attended the European Innovation Academy held in Cascais, Portugal for a 3 week entrepreneurship program where participants were given 3 weeks to create a startup. With the help of a few of the 120 mentors from all over the world, my team of 5 and I created an idea to help in providing a solution to the plastic pollution problem. We worked hours every day in research, marketing, designing, and analyzing the best way to present and pitch our product on the last day. Through the experience of pitching to a Silicon Vallet investor, our team learned to hone in on our idea and we have decided to continue to work on our idea and hopefully bring it to the market in the next few years.
