• Heading ENERCONs Global Procurement for Steel Works & Machined Componets Categories (SWMC): Steel Parts and Structures, Cast Parts, Bearings, Drives, Form Coils, Electrical Steel Laminations and Bus Bars• Steering the global manufacturing and supply chain strategies for internal and external generator manufacturing facilities (Brazil, Germany, India, Portugal and Turkey)• Disciplinary and functional lead for a team of 50+ Procurement Professionals (Category Management, Supplier Quality & Development and others)

• Managing ENERCONs Regional Procurement Hubs (Brazil, Portugal, Turkey, India, Taiwan)• Heading an interface function between Global- and Regional Procurement• Driving the transformation of existing local purchasing setups to professional Regional Procurement Hubs according to the corporate wide defined strategy • Heading a team of +3 Sourcing Scouts who do active market and supplier research on selected markets• Supervising preparation of country supply market briefings for new market countries• Supporting the Global Category Leads with identification of new suppliers and supplier relationship management for international suppliers• Establishing an external manufacturing network for main components such as blades, generators, nacelles, hubs, and towers (make or buy / outsourcing)

After conceptual finalization of the future Global Procurement footprint, I got responsiblle for establishing and implementing ENERCONs first Regional Procurement Hub in Portugal :• Transformed the existing buyers from a plant driven and separated setup to one Regional Procurement Team• Moved all existing Buyers in the region from a highly incompliant purchasing setup to a standardized and automated SAP P2P process setup• Drove cross-functional cooperation between Purchasing and other functions• Gained additional headcount efficiency of at least 20% by streamlining existing processes • Established ENERCONs first shared service center between Global and Regional Procurement • Managed successfully a position in an international matrix organization of country and global responsible management

• Managed international project purchasing (direct & indirect material) of oversea projects with a spend volume of +100 Mio. USD. Reported directly to the Head of Global Procurement• Established project based sourcing strategies for different countries (e.g. local content Brazil).• Led sourcing and identification activities for new international suppliers• Drove supplier audits to ensure compliance with ENERCON regulations from technical and quality perspective• Led development of existing and implementation of new supply chains and supplier relationships.• Responsible to conceptualize ENERCONs future Global Procurement footprint with eight Regional Procurement Hubs (decentralization)

Prepared my Bachelor Thesis to finish my studies. Topic of the Bachelor Thesis: Investigation of economic utilization of associated petroleum gas by the gas generator Genset G3516A of Zeppelin Power Systems GmbH & Co. KG and deduction of unique selling propositions.
