My responsibilities revolve around overseeing and guiding user research for Capital One's Commercial Bank Treasury Management Services.

Design and conduct user research that supports the development and improvement of new and existing IHS Markit products. This involves a wide range user experience research methodologies that are administered both face-to-face and remotely.

Worked on the development of a protocol for conducting focus groups to determine definitions of science among middle school children as well as gauge their response to an interactive flash-based science game. I also moderated these focus groups while I was there.

Worked with the User Experience Research group and conducted usability studies for several projects. Usability studies included Rapid Iterative Testing and Evaluation (RITE), focus group and individual interviews and heuristics evaluation. Prepared reports and presented findings to design teams and other stakeholders in these projects.

Worked with the Usability group, which maintained a website that allows users to publish or take courses in a variety of subjects. Conducted focus groups that were held with course authors. Developed prototypes for the Author editing environment and account management. Participated in discussions with programmers to refine user interactions within the Author editing environment.

Taught classes in quantitative data analysis to undergraduate students. Also conducted workshops for graduate students.
