I am (co-)Principal Investigator on two grants to research the social impact of digital technology and law using simulations:- NSF #2105301: Heterogeneous agent modeling of the personal data economy- NSF #2131532: Collaborative Research: DASS: Agent Based Modeling at the Boundary of Law and SoftwareI have co-authored publications using different modeling techniques with co-authors from a wide range of disciplines, including computer science, operations research, economics, geography, finance, epidemiology, law, political science, physics, and statistics.I have launched a new software project, SHARKFin (Simulating Heterogeneous Agents with Rational Knowledge in the Financial system), which is one of the first models to integrate decision-theoretic modeling of consumer households with a realistic agent-based model of a financial market. I have led this development with a DARPA-funded team of economists, finance researchers, and engineers.

Research Engineer working on Econ-ARK, an open source toolkit for solving and simulating heterogeneous agent structural models, fiscally sponsored by NumFOCUS.I took responsibility for professionalizing the code base by refactoring key components and instituting software development best practices such as automated testing and regular code reviews.I have developed a new, flexible architecture for designing and efficiently solving lifecycle models using policy iteration, including the endogenous gridpoints method.I have enjoyed mentoring Economics graduate students in software development techniques to improve capacity of the team.

I designed and implemented novel software supply chain risk management techniques using software project data.I then developed APIs to convey the results of these techniques to front-end user interfaces.I published peer review papers about scientific computing and computer security, demonstrating company innovation
