As both the Assistant Manager and the Facilities Manager at Cold River Camp, I was responsible for:- overseeing a crew of 10 people- taking reservations and performing bookkeeping for up to 100 guests per week- creating, updating and sharing documents to aid management in keeping track of camp business- maintaining more than 40 outbuildings- maintaining grounds- contacting and scheduling contractors for larger jobs like foundation repair, chimneys, electrical, etc. - creating and updating weekly, monthly and annual checklists to promote collaboration and aid management and committee members in decision-making.

With this prestigious appointment as Caretaker at Hermit Lake Shelters at the foot of Tuckerman Ravine, Mt. Washington, I had the opportunity to:- Be responsible for search and rescue, public service, and resource protection- Learn and grow under the tutelage of highly experienced backcountry climbers, skiers and mountaineers- Represent the efforts of the AMC in a professional and supportive manner to the public and cooperating agencies like the USFS, NH Fish and Game, and Mt. Washington Volunteer Ski Patrol- Institute organic training documents, spreadsheets, and goals lists in Google Docs to help train new personnel and keep track of long-term trends

Ski Patrollers at Attitash:- Help maintain a safe environment for skiers of all levels- Assist injured guests by providing high quality patient care and safe transport- Execute emergency protocols with confidence and efficiency- Communicate with employees and guests RE: best practices, safety, equipment- Collaborate with people of different ages, abilities, and backgrounds to ensure safety
