I participated in SEMESTRE i: Kaizen. A program to develop soft skills and Industrial Engineering competences held at the company Flex at the Facilities department.As a team we were selected for a project dealing with facilities management. From office spaces coding, assigning, and labeling to delimiting, testing, and changing personnel routes and layouts, our projects were successfully completed. TAMAGS is a metal casting factory, their main product is brake drums for semi-trailer trucks. As a trainee my job was initially to inspect the manufacturing process to spot flaws and non-conforming items and their root cause. Afterwards I focused on the metrology laboratory, measuring every break drum catalog product´s casting molds and their thermal contraction by comparing them with the casting piece´s dimensions.
