- Overseeing a team of design engineers responsible for creating custom/bespoke facade access systems (BMUs, Monorails, Temporary Access Systems, Fall Protection Systems, etc.)- Managing key strategic suppliers and monitoring their performance- Preparing offers / tender submissions and liasing with potential clients- Building relationships with potential clients and maintaining relations with current ones- Project Management - seeing and supervising projects through all stages - from initial enquiry to final handover- Carrying out Factory Acceptance Testing of manufactured products and verifying their compliance with established specification and regulations- Delivering projects within established budgets and performance criteria from start to finish (responsible for tendering and securing the work, managing the design and installation team, and ensuring smooth handover to the client)- Ensuring the Engineering department works with full compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO9001)- Carrying out internal audits of the Quality Management System under ISO9001- Ensuring all projects and products are designed & delivered in accordance with the applicable regulations (BS EN 1808, BS 6037, BS 5974, BS 7883, BS 8610)- Introducing and managing the roll-out of standardised procedures in the Engineering department- Providing technical support for internal and external clients - Carrying out site reviews of already installed systems (fall protection and facade access - in terms of compliance with regulations and in terms of general performance)

- Design of temporary and permanent facade access installations and components- Liasing with suppliers (procurement) and overseeing manufacturing / fabrication of designed parts- Quality checking and ensuring custom components meet required quality and performance criteria- Designing in full compliance with applicable standards and regulations (BS EN 1808, BS 6037, BS 5974, and others)- Providing quotations for custom parts and liasing with customers to ensure their requirements have been correctly identified- Providing assistance to the on-site teams via answering technical queries, providing assistance in interpreting the standards/regulations or attending sites to help come up with the best solution for the client- Working under high pressure to ensure tight deadlines and quick turnaround times are met
