I am a visual arts learning facilitator with a passion for inspiring and empowering diverse audiences through creative education. With a strong background in art and design education, I have honed my skills in delivering engaging and transformative learning programs for various age groups, from local school children to adults. My experience working within museum and gallery settings has further enriched my ability to connect with young people and foster impactful experiences.As a participation coordinator at Stanley Picker Gallery, I am responsible for organizing and delivering dynamic creative programs that empower creative development and are inspired by the gallery's main program. I lead the delivery of engaging learning activities, catering to a wide range of learners, including early years, families, schools, young people, and individuals with autism and SEN support needs. Additionally, I proficient in managing materials and resources, ensuring a smooth delivery of learning sessions and maintaining a well-equipped and safe learning environment.Collaboration is at the heart of my approach, and I actively work with colleagues, artists, designers, expert educators, and visitors to ensure cohesive and coordinated activities, events, and festivals. In my role, I also mentor a team of gallery assistants, nurturing their growth as creative educators through empowering experiences. Up-holding organizational policies and procedures, particularly related to safety, securi-ty, and safeguarding, is of utmost importance to me.I have made significant contributions to community outreach efforts, actively engaging with diverse local groups and organizations. These initiatives have resulted in the addition of seven new community groups and a substantial increase in participation. My previous experience as a gallery assistant at Stanley Picker Gallery allowed me to develop and conduct art sessions and gallery experiences for young people and local community groups.With a solid educational background in fashion, including a MA in Fashion from Kingston University, I bring a unique perspective to my work. As an Arts Award Advisor and with my completion of courses such as The Embodiment of Early Learning, I continually strive to enhance my expertise and stay updated with the latest practices in creative education.I am now seeking new challenges in delivering creative programs for new audiences and gaining further experience in an exciting environment.
