Stakeholders increasingly hold corporations accountable, and corporate social responsibility campaigns fail to adequately address these demands. I help decision makers understand these dynamics and define this role. Many of my contacts on the client side are C-level or in leadership positions in corporate affairs, sustainability, and strategy.As Partner and Senior Vice President, I lead the Corporate Reputation consulting practice at FleishmanHillard Germany. I am based in Berlin and work with my team across EMEA. In our view, reputation is more than spin: It is the product of behaviors and social engagement. We believe communications is integral to corporate success. It is informed by, but also informs, business strategy and drives outcomes. My personal mission is to help clients exceed expectations through far-sighted decisions with a positive societal impact.I have been advising clients on both sides of the Atlantic for twenty years. I have used my experience, international network, and analytical skills to help corporate leaders successfully navigate societal issues and stakeholder demands. I have witnessed the great transformation unfold and I think it is now mission critical: its drivers are global, and no one can escape its effects. Understanding this trajectory today is a prerequisite for effective leadership.In addition to my position at FleishmanHillard, I am a Visiting Fellow at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. I lead a transatlantic platform on corporate responsibility that convenes corporate leaders and experts, cultivates a dialogue between stakeholders, and gathers insights and new ideas about the changing role of business in society.
