For this purpose, I perform a wide variety of studies using advanced softwares where necessary. My area of expertise covers energy, water, and materials. An important part of this role is to communicate effectively the conclusions to the team members by means of reports and presentations.Acting as a Project Manager, I am responsible for project administrative and financial management and I am ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.Additionally, I am active in the business development; I write proposals and participate to competition. I have spent the most of my time at WSP Opus as a Mechanical Engineer ensuring the preparation of Developed Design and Detailed Design. The projects I have delivered include an Apartment Building, a Gymnasium, a Hotel and a Supermarket. Assuming the role of Lead Engineer, an important part of my job was the supervision and mentoring of other Junior and Intermediate Engineers. During the construction phase, my work was to analyse contractor bids and report to the client, ensure that the contractor documentation complies, monitor on-site work, test systems and report to the client.Acting as a Project Manager was an embedded part of my job. This included direct and constant liaison with the client, team organisation, tasks scheduling, and programme delay or technical issues anticipation. In this role, I supervised the costs and checked the invoice before sending. As a Partner of the business, one of my responsibilities was to find clients and projects, negotiate and contract with clients and create client loyalty.During my time at JZH & Partners, I monitored 17 contractor’s works for a total amount of 15 M€ (~$25 million) and I prepared 26 technical documentation for tenders totalling 27,5 M€ (~$45 million).
