I am part of the TCMS (Train Control and Management System) team for the commissioning of the first SBB Twindexx FV-DOSTO test trains. This involves searching and solving software and ethernet/bus communication issues. We therefore follow all the test trains and commission all sub-systems. Aside, we are also developing TCMS commissioning tools for single car and full train test.

I am in charge of developing, fully setting up and running the automatic cable tester for the SBB FV-Dosto project. This is a two months internship in the Visual Display (VD) team at Samsung Electronics at the R&D headquarters in South Korea. The project involved the development and testing of the audience measurement system for Samsung’s Magicinfo Digital Signage solutions. The goal behind this project is to use computer vision to measure audience's size and demographics with tools such as gender and facial expressions recognition, face detection/tracking and face count.
