This accomplishment was realized during the evaluation period of 2021⊛ The incubator accomplished the incubation of 45+ recognized startups (Private Limited Companies), within a timeframe of less than 10 months (from May 2021 to February 2022). This performance marks a substantial progression, particularly when juxtaposed with the limited achievement of around 11 such startups incubated from the inception of the initiative in 2018 until April 2021.⊛ An array of targeted programs were conceived and instituted to furnish valuable advantages to nascent startups and aspiring entrepreneurs: - The establishment of the 'Startup in AIC' (SIA) program, tailored to provide comprehensive support to early stage startups. - Introducing the 'FridayStars' initiative, a dedicated platform offering weekly sessions, designed to cultivate and refine entrepreneurship skills among student cohorts. - Through effective collaboration with StartUp India, the incubator secured the coveted SISFS (Startup India Seed Fund Scheme) accreditation for AIC IIITK, a testament to the innovative and impactful initiatives orchestrated.⊛ Demonstrating a remarkable surge in performance, the incubator achieved an exponential growth rate exceeding 10X in the number of startups incubated.
