Current-Manage the ongoing development of a new subprovincial estimates system--Established a long-term plan for the complete redevelopment of methodologies, processes and tools used to produce and disseminate subprovincial estimates.--Leading the research and development of methods to obtain smaller-scale information from current data sources to align the new system with Statistics Canada data disaggregation plan.--Write complete business requirements and specifications for all parts of the new subprovincial estimates system for IT development.--Work with IT to implement specifications and supervise testing of the new system. -Develop and maintain an improved system of data certification for subprovincial estimates--Manage data certification process for subprovincial estimates including timelines, data review and preparation for component experts.--Developed a new system in R using inputs from internal stakeholders which saves up to two weeks during the certification process and reduces potential errors. -Oversee the dissemination of subprovicial estimates data, analytical texts, visualisation products and answering to media and client requests--Produce analytical and Daily texts on provincial and subprovincial estimates from drafts to Chief Statistician review. --Act as main contact for media requests and interviews on subprovincial estimates, and answer any questions from internal and external clients.-Carry out a continuous review of administrative data and techniques available to enhance processes of data evaluation and demographic estimates--Reviewed currently available alternative data sets to identify ones with demographic potential. This led to a project aimed at improving accuracy of estimates for on-reserve populations.--Research and develop new dissemination tools and visualisations to enhance and modernize storytelling from demographic data.
