I led a high-performance sustainability team which was geographical dispersed, maintaining strong relationships while navigating CEFC's complex investment nature and Government mandate. My leadership fostered in advisory excellence and collaborations, accelerating decarbonisation and sustainability in Australia's financial and investment sectors. In this pivotal role at CEFC, I utilised my extensive sustainability experience and intuitive problem solving to spearheaded the organisation's approach on decarbonisation, net-zero targets, sustainability and ESG, and polices and frameworks tailored to the unique challenges of Australia’s clean energy transition.Highlights• Strategic guidance for industry-leading targets for investments in energy efficiency and clean energy solutions for CEFC’s investments.• Led the creation and implementation of CEFC's inaugural ESG policy, via a materiality assessment, shaping corporate culture and capabilities to reflect the importance of ESG.• Implementation of a comprehensive sustainability/risk monitoring systems and database to enable digital reporting for quarterly reports, etc., facilitating effective asset management and oversight to track progress of sustainability objectives. • Developed and managed a knowledge-sharing initiative for CEFC’s property and infrastructure projects. During my tenure in Brisbane, I led sustainable design initiatives in the built environment, focusing on high-performance building strategies. My expertise in material selection, indoor quality, and thermal comfort contributed to significant societal and environmental impacts across various projects.I played a key role in assisting clients to achieve NABERS and Green Star objectives, providing design recommendations, analytical insights, and technical reporting. My work in thermal and daylight modelling was crucial in shaping energy-efficient and compliant building strategies.Collaborating closely with in-house engineers, I developed optimised sustainability solutions, underpinning my commitment to raising industry standards through ethical and holistic practices in sustainability.
