My primary role as a student tutor in Marymount University's Academic Hub is to deliver specialized academic writing guidance to both undergraduate and graduate students. All tutoring sessions involve individualized learning for each student according to their needs and preferred method of instruction.I teach advanced academic skills and strategies that are designed to improve reading, writing, and study habits by utilizing pedagogical theories and practices that enable me to communicate and instruct effectively to student learners.

As a research assistant for the Bloomberg School's Center for Prevention and Early Intervention, I was responsible for organizing and completing school-based assessments with students and teachers within participating public school systems. This is accomplished through the conducting of live classroom-based observations and coding of student behavior, teacher instruction, and teacher response to student behavior. Supporting tasks in this role include operating various electronic devices to collect and tabulate data, transferring data from data sheets to databases, reviewing data for accuracy and completeness, meeting regularly with research team to verify data, and assisting in assembling and distributing critical study materials for field use.

Work duties include providing high-level tutoring on academic writing to both undergraduate and graduate students. All tutoring is tailored to the individual student based on their needs and learning style. Provide one-on-one instruction with undergraduate and graduate students across a variety of disciplines to discuss their writing and demonstrate various methods, techniques, and strategies that can be used to improve upon their works.Employ foundational pedagogical theories and teachings to craft personalized instruction for every student to meet their specific needs and goals. Main responsibilities and duties revolved around the training of all new hires. This was accomplished through teaching and demonstrating how to correctly execute all duties and functions related to being a Tribe Member at &pizza using corporate-issued guidelines and training procedures. Training also included how to safely handle food and how to maintain shop cleanliness to a high standard. Other duties included servicing hundreds of orders daily in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards for quality, cleanliness, and food safety. During my time with pizza, I was appointed as Brand Ambassador as recognition for providing excellent customer service.

Responsible for formulating lesson plans for multiple classes that would last up to eight weeks.
