Adjunct Professor of Business and Technical Writing

Facilitate the virtual internship program at Epic Charter Schools, bringing exposure to high school students in the area of career exploration focused on top career clusters while also supervising and connecting with students to develop skills through project based learning.

Provides staff development in all areas of technology to the teachers, administrators, and support staff of the Oklahoma City Public Schools and serves as a technology coach/mentor to District teaching staff in classroom technology integration•Plans, organizes and delivers training for district employees by collaborating with teachers, administrators and technology personnel on the development and implementation of district-wide training strategies for new technologies•Performs front-end analyses including needs assessment, task analysis, content analysis, learner characteristic assessment, environmental review, and instructional analysis•Designs and publishes training materials such as manuals and tutorials, both web-based and for live trainings•Assists district personnel in the planning and implementation of technology plans and District technology policies and procedures•Coordinates the Lead Technology Educator Program•Provides ongoing support for technology initiatives by way of site visit, email, or telephone help•Prepares reports and analyses setting forth progress, appropriate recommendations or conclusions in regards to the technology implementations of the district•Serves as liaison on training-related and technology-related committees•Participates in professional development (in person and online, including social media and Professional Learning Networks) to stay abreast of the latest trends and studies/research in the field of educational technology•Maintains necessary certifications (technology and education) for the job•Maintains constant contact with school leadership to ensure schools are all receiving sufficient technology training on software and hardware in their buildings•Promotes the overall effectiveness of the organization by performing tasks and sharing responsibilities of other members of the Department during peak periods or when there is an overload of duties

An instructional coach in education is no different from an athletic coach for sports or a vocal coach for a singer. A coach is simply one who supports and provides training. The basic role of an instructional coach in education is to increase the instructional capacity of teachers so they can better incorporate literacy or math into their instruction. An instructional coach is one who supports others in building their teaching skills, assists others in applying new knowledge, and provides ongoing professional development.

Facilitate client meetings, understand client objectives/needs to create plans that leverage digital and traditional marketing technologies.Have a deep understanding of the company's marketing technology from capabilities to governance surrounding. Develop comprehensive marketing solutions, ensuring that recommendations are in line with best practices.Research customer behavior in order to recommend which combination of channels, messages, creative, delivery methods and timing work best.Develop strategy for marketing automation campaigns, digital media, and user experience.Present digital recommendations to clients on a regular basis.Serve as the liaison between the client service team and marketing implementation team to ensure high quality campaigns are developed and executed properly for all clients.Work with implementation teams to optimize campaign performance, based on solid metrics, for clients.Explore new digital trends in the areas of website development, user experience, SEO, SEM, marketing automation and social media.
