Responsible for the installation, qualification, sustaining and continuous improvement of essential manufacturing software for processor testing equipment. Lead and coordinated the proliferation of software while providing technical troubleshooting support and was responsible for conducting training to personnel on software related deployment and sustaining excellence. Collaborated as a key player during the introduction of state-of-the-art processor testing equipment to the Intel plant in Costa Rica, acting as the interface between the development and manufacturing organizations to continuously improve software features.

In order to improve the performance of medical device manufacturing equipment, I diagnosed the problems that affected their availability by designing and developing an integrated automatic monitoring system.In addition, with the intention of solving one of its downtime main offenders, I redesigned a section of the machine by creating a new positioning system for its incoming material. Later, I coordinated the implementation of this new system so that the electromechanical technicians could put it in place (currently being executed).Over this period, I had the opportunity of working in a high standard manufacturing facility, with ISO class 8 clean rooms and 24-hour running processes.

I helped improve the performance of fellow students by offering weekly classes that reinforced the necessary concepts and methods of the course.

I coordinated a team of student mentors as they helped new students adapt to the university environment. Duties consisted of planning monthly meetings with the team, planning events that included both students and teaching staff, and monthly reporting to a supervisor.
