Prior to his career in private equity Steve played major roles throughout the entertainmentindustry. As co-founder and EVP of Turner Home Entertainment, he oversaw five majorbusiness units with sales exceeding $500 million. Those divisions included worldwide homevideo, merchandising and licensing, theatrical distribution, pay per view television and ancillarydistribution of Turner networks. Over a nearly 10 year period he was responsible for the releaseof hundreds of TV films and cartoons from Turner’s massive library (MGM and HannaBarbera).After Turner, Steve began working as a consultant for Capitol Records in Los Angeles. His firstproject focused on Frank Sinatra and his final albums Duets 1 and 2. Following that success, Steve wasasked to quarterback The Beatles Anthology which became the largest grossing recordingproject in history with $350 million in sales (3 new double albums, 2 new singles, a 10 hourhome video series and a 3 night 2 hour special on ABC).
