Sarah is a Director and Head of Public Sector Bids at Savills. She joined the team in August 2020. Since then, Sarah has been instrumental in strengthening our approach and driving continuous improvement towards Public Sector tenders. Her role advises on end-to-end bid management, alongside directly contributing on subjects such as social value.Sarah has over 13 years’ experience in bid management, beginning her bidding career as a university placement in 2011. Sarah has been recognised three times by Association for Proposal Management Professionals (APMP). In 2022, Sarah was listed in the final shortlist for the APMP UK Bid Excellence Award, in 2020 Sarah was recognised in the global 40 under 40 class for her achievements and in 2016 in the final shortlist for the APMP UK People Development Award. Additionally she is a member of the APMP Intentional Career Path programme, who are responsible for initiating change and supporting pathways for future talent in the bid / proposal industry.Passionate about diversity, Sarah is on our steering committees for our LGBTQ+ and social mobility working groups and acts as the social mobility network lead. Outside of Savills, she is a board member of Freehold LGBT+ CIC, which is a network to support LGBTQ+ professionals and allies working in the real estate / property industry. Sarah is also a member of the BE News DE&I Editorial Advisory Board, which is the only free news service to cover the entire built environment industry and features some of the most influential names from across the industry and DE&I landscape.
