Working closely with team, goals on price, deals, consolidations, expansion, in accordance with regional and global material goals.Securing the supply chain for fabric suppliers with regards to both sourcing and production.Evaluate fabric suppliers’ performance through Supplier Relationship Management together based on multiple criteria (price, quality, service, reliability, etc.).Keep updated on H&M fabric suppliers’ strengths and weaknesses; working continuously on their on their price, lead-time, deals, consolidations and expansion capabilities.Managing direct supply chain relations with fabric / yarn suppliers, and cotton traders.Working closely with business functions, providing them with expertise and supporting them with integrating sustainability into their supply chains and assortments. Evaluating innovations together and new techniques for the global sustainability team to consider for future developments.Responsible for driving, implementing and monitoring global routines in sustainable materials, processes and material ethics, ensuring they are understood and followed by our suppliers and internal assortment and supply chain teams. Responsible for driving pilot projects in Europe region, providing expertise and feedback on the successes and improvement areas before official roll outs of new sustainable fibers.Training the local, assortments, supply chain teams and suppliers in all matters concerning material sustainability.Partnering with the global sustainability team to understand advances in the sustainable materials, processes and traceability in order to successfully pilot related projects in Europe Region. Evaluating product Life Cycle Analysis and assess risks associated with existing and new materials in the region for new sustainable fibers.

Supporting on any fabric issue (woven or knitted), starting from sourcing, development, sampling, base test, lab-dip/strike-off/handloom, bulk testing, appearance, handle and color approval, garment washing, garment dyeing etc.Main Technical point of contact for all M&S Buyers and Technologists, answering all technical queries and providing solutions to avoid production delays or quality issues. Carrying out fabric pre-production / Risk Analysis reviews (priority basis), agreeing required testing standards and the frequency of tests.Ensuring Customer Return rates as per the target of each individual department are being worked with and actions are being taken for further orders.Ensuring suppliers understand and meet M&S required standards of fabric quality and safety. Working o action plans if needed.Developing fabric sourcing expertise in the Region and communicate to BU’s.Main point of contact for all Plan A M&S Requirements, developing product, suppliers and factories to gain Plan A Eco attributes.Researching and implementation of Innovation into products (Tummy Control, Stay New, microencapsulation).
