Seconde Nimenya is an author of five books including her latest “Unlocking Diversity: How to Create Inclusive Cultures in a World of Differences.” She is a passionate diversity, equity, and inclusion advocate who began her DEI work before the word “diversity“ was a hashtag. Seconde writes and speaks to share stories about her transnational and cross-cultural experiences, and what she has learned on her life journey to inspire and empower others on their life journeys. An experienced DEI Practitioner, Seconde coaches and trains organizational leaders and their teams on cultural competency, unconscious bias, and building trust to create inclusive cultures with fresh perspectives and provides needed support for how to unlearn biased behaviors and unleash employee engagement and work satisfaction─ all positive drivers of organizational performance. She is the Principal Practitioner at BECHANGE GROUP, a coaching and consulting company with the aim to support leaders who want to build inclusive cultures in their organizations to attract and retain the best workforce talent.Her work has appeared in various media outlets and publications, and she has received recognition for her leadership work on diversity, equity and inclusion and bridging the gaps between diverse and multicultural communities.
