When we first started working together we were peers on the same team and he was teaching me to be better at Python and Networking, and I was teaching him how to be better at VMware and Storage. Over the next couple of years I was promoted to be the manager of the team and Chris was one of the best resources to have on the team. He had learned so much that he literally could jump in a huge variety of projects. He helped someone get a new Jira plugin to Salesforce working through a DMZ, debugged network problems created in labs which were literally a rat's nest of cables, and wrote countless lines of automation code to make custom built applications scale to be enterprise quality. Chris's main focus is security though and he decided to follow his passion and dig deep on that area. Getting certifications and skills, he moved to a security role inside Pure and there he helped Pure Storage build a better product overall.
