-Cizre Dr. Selahattin Cizrelioglu State Hospital, (Sirnak/Turkey)Since 09/2020, As an internal medicine specialist, I diagnose, treat, and follow-up diseases such as thyroid diseases, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, anemia, vitamin deficiency, acute and chronic gastritis, and some rheumatological diseases in the outpatient clinic. If an urgent referral is needed, I refer the patient to the concerned specialist. In addition, I provide inpatient follow-up and treatment services. I am on call in the intensive care and internal medicine departments of our hospital. I admit and treat patients who have acute pancreatitis, diabetic ketoacidosis, hypertensive emergencies, acute kidney failure, and many similar cases from the emergency department.-Bursa Uludag University Hospital (Bursa/Turkey)05/2016 – 09/2020After passing the medical specialization exam, I started my internal medicine residency training, which was my first choice. During my internal medicine residency training, I worked in both outpatient clinics and inpatient services in hematology, gastroenterology, nephrology, endocrinology, geriatrics, rheumatology, and oncology departments. I also rotated in cardiology clinics for 2 months, infectious diseases clinics for 2 months and pulmonary disease clinics for 2 months. I worked as an internal medicine assistant in the emergency department for 3 months. I attended the training seminars of our hospital, which were 2 days a week, and prepared presentations at these seminars. In the process, I had the chance to attend endocrinology, nephrology, and internal medicine congresses for educational purposes and I prepared case report posters at the congresses. I also taught medical school students during my assistantship period.-Tokat State Hospital (Tokat/Turkey)09/2015 – 05/2016I worked as a general practitioner in the Gynecology and Pediatric Emergency Department. I treated children with seizures, acute diseases such as croup, bronchiolitis, and foreign body aspiration. In addition, I examined pregnant patients with transvaginal ultrasound and consulted a specialist doctor, and provided the first intervention in emergencies such as the threat of miscarriage and bleeding.
