I am in the process of cultivating a new chapter in my career. I started this journey by enrolling to the Master of Social Work Program at UMSL in 2021 and graduated in May 2023. During this program, I had the opportunity to do my foundation practicum at STL Youth Jobs and my concentration practicum position at The Center for Mindfulness & CBT. I supported one of the BHWET grant projects at UMSL School of Social Work part-time before starting my clinical work at St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI).I am grateful for the past 20 years of experience of wrangling data and developing analytics solutions and capabilities at large organizations. While I enjoyed working for different corporations over the past two decades, my biggest job satisfaction came from leading teams, inspiring others, and making a positive impact. I had the privilege to work for BJC HealthCare for more than five years. I led the HealthCare Analytics team as part of the Center for Clinical Excellence, which is a shared service dedicated to improving patient safety and quality of health care in all of BJC’s hospitals and care delivery sites. We were responsible for promoting clinical excellence through providing business intelligence and analytics support.Prior to joining BJC HealthCare, I lead a team of data scientists at Enterprise Holdings. We were part of the Analytics Center of Excellence, which provided sophisticated, data-driven decision-making capabilities and supported strategic initiatives for the organization. At Express Scripts, I lead a team of data scientists who developed and implemented predictive models and other advanced analytical solutions that supported various products within the Clinical, Research & New Solutions groups. I was also accountable to deliver statistically sound solutions to support Consumerology initiatives and pilots.Before accepting the responsibilities to lead highly educated knowledge workers, I worked as a Senior Statistical Analyst for Catalina Health Resource (now Adheris), and as a Consultant for The Mattson Jack Group (now Kantar Health Group). At Catalina Health Resource, I evaluated the effectiveness of various marketing programs implemented at retail pharmacies that targeted improved health outcomes for patients. At The Mattson Jack Group, I was responsible for consultation and development of promotion optimization for pharmaceutical marketing activities, as well as developing market share forecasting.
