Sedef Kjamili is a dynamic individual embarking on an exciting journey in the field of Computer Engineering. With a robust academic background in technology, she is committed to assuming leadership roles within the Information Technology (IT) sector. Selected as one of the top 300 students from a pool of one million applicants for the prestigious Turkish Scholarships, Sedef began her academic pursuit in the Computer Engineering program at Ankara University.Her journey is marked by notable accomplishments, including recognition at the International NASA Space Apps Challenge and being named an Honorable Delegate at the Model United Nations Conference in Istanbul. As a former Executive Board Member of the Computer Society Student Club, Sedef played a significant role in fostering the growth of the tech community.During her college years, she co-founded Migport, where she contributed to the design of a mobile application connecting refugees and locals globally. Additionally, she co-organized the GLOBUS Academy and the Youth Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development Program in 2022, in collaboration with Rutgers University.Sedef gained hands-on experience during an internship in the IT section of the YTB Turkiye Scholarships Ankara Office, where she showcased her technical skills by initiating a database project. Furthermore, she served as a counselor at RCSummer Camp in Robert College, Istanbul, teaching science, coding, and technology to students at a prestigious private high school.Currently, Sedef is serving on the audit committee at Kodluyoruz, a social enterprise dedicated to cultivating top-tier software developers in Turkiye. In this role, she actively collaborates with university students to contribute to the country's technological advancement.With a strong interest in AI, Data Science, Machine Learning, and Information Theory, Sedef is committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
