I ask questions :) And I ask them well..in a way that often results in product insights and strategic business shifts. My expertise is in international research and I do a great job of advocating for users often resulting in untapped growth opportunities for companies. Starting a new company? I can help you thoughtfully think through how to make sure you’re building the right thing to tackle customer needs. In my current role as a Senior Product Researcher at Coursera, I examine issues such as learner retention, educator analytics as well as localization efforts for international markets. My impact can be seen in our AI academic integrity product launches, machine translation tools and overall learner experience at Coursera. I also lead the Coursera for Africa initiative, aimed at nurturing young talent across Africa and serving as a connector for partnerships within Coursera and organizations based in Africa.I hold an M.Sc Education in Learning, Design & Technology from Stanford’s Graduate School of Education and a B.A in Computer Science and Economic Development from Swarthmore College. In my spare time, you can find me dancing to Afrobeats, singing or reading more about tech and business opportunities in Africa!
