I've been using Unix since I needed to sit on a phone book to reach the keyboard. I have programmed in a lot of languages, but my favorites are probably C and Go, or Lua and Ruby, depending on my mood. I'm a bit of a generalist, but with a definite focus on performance and efficiency, whether that's making a keyboard's firmware run faster or measuring processing speed in gigabytes-per-millisecond. My background also includes a psychology degree, and I think human factors should be a bigger component of API design, because ultimately APIs are typically used by humans.Not looking for new opportunities right now.
