Bens' core focus for the past 20 years has been in developing people management skills and project based, organisational and people systems solutions from a Buddhist perspective. He has recently added university level design skills, and program manage skills to his expansive skills set. He has previously written a series of 10 Mindful Management ebooks (Management skills from a Buddhist perspective), and several novels (Fantasy and Sci-Fi) and setup Facilitate People Development, a consultancy business focused on facilitating learning, people development, and providing project management consultancy skills using mindful management, design thinking and community engagement techniques. Through Facilitate People Development, Ben has worked with clients during the past seventeen years to help them in developing leadership and management skills, understanding situations, and analysing them from multiple perspectives. Ben has helped organisations to analyse and streamline processes using organisational and people design systems approaches, and lean thinking. He is able to help clients to develop ownership and empower them in creating sustainable solutions, designing specialised solutions to suit individuals their needs.Ben has worked both in Australia and overseas with many shapes and sizes of organisations to train their staff in project management and community engagement techniques. He recently completed a Bachelor of Design (Honors) at QUT and is now enjoying the balance of working as a trainer and practicing his furniture design skills.
