About Alexandra Seelig
Growing up, I knew I wanted to be able to apply my love for math and logic in whatever path I chose. This led me to where I am now, pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Florida. I place importance in my Hispanic heritage and as a woman in STEM and strive every day to keep learning and exploring in the fields of software and hardware engineering. I have experience as a researcher on a team developing a gaming app to help young students understand the impact of coastal erosion on city infrastructure. I have also worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, helping to enrich students' learning while they begin to navigate the fundamentals of programming.I am currently exploring my enjoyment of embedded systems and FPGA development in Microprocessors 2 and Digital Design, and am searching for positions related to these fields!
