Started my tenure in the organization during a phase when the organization was looking to expand its presence across geographies and develop competitive advantage through product leadership. Developed BI tools as a pre-built solution for retailers and aggressively engaged to acquire new customers across geographies. Oversight of pre-sales, business consulting and deployment of Merchandise Analytics product across leading retailers in SEA, USA, Australia and UK. Conceptualised and developed new BI products such as ecommerce for online retailers, Merchant development and Seller's intelligence for market place, Demand Signal Management for CPG, Supplier portal , Customer Analytics, Merchandise planning , HR Analytics and Finance Analytics . Apart from leading product strategy and defining product road map, also contributed in product marketing, product engineering, pre-sales, sales, sales training and deployment of Merchandize Analytics. Responsible for product planning from ideation to product launch, portfolio management, content management, functional specifications, PRD, GTM, pricing & packaging. Participated in several industry events and analyst briefings (Gartner, Forrester, etc.) and authored whitepapers and articles,Engaged in several strategic accounts across global markets and played a ‘Bid Win Team ’ role for all fashion and food accounts. Provided product trainings to the global sales team and introduced Merchandise Analytics certification program. Worked closely with product engineering team on expansion of BI products. The journey in Arvind includes domains of manufacturing, international marketing, product merchandizing, sales & distribution, retail services and supply chain management across the brands Arrow, Lee, Wrangler, Excalibur, Flying Machine & Newport. During the initial years of my career, worked in Denim & Shirting divisions of Arvind Mills Ltd, Ahmedabad in the respective functions of manufacturing and international marketing across the geographies of US, UK, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Middle East. Played the role of power user for implementation of SD/MM modules of SAP R3 system. Assigned to train all employees to use SAP in the organization.In Arvind Brands, handled different roles spanning across product audit, merchandizing, sales & distribution, retail services and supply chain management across all brands. Identified pain points, implemented remedial measures and delivered on all business, operational and service efficiencies metrics y-o-y. Ensured brand growth and profitability.
