Key Result Areas:  Accountable for determining Insitu stress by Hydro-Fracturing Method carried out along with NIRM Scientists. Maintaining core logs of double barrel, AX size, 45m depth both vertically & horizontally drilled and core logging for the purpose of hydro fracture test.  Handling deformability parameters by plate load experiment and carried out at the proposed underground power house complex of Teesta III. Performing 3d log and generating geotechnical parameters for each stretch of excavated length before shotcrete. Responsible for issuing letter to contractors for implementation of support on safety terms.  Managing installing of the Geotechnical Instruments (of M/s AIMIL) in whole Power House Complex as per design criteria. Inspecting and cross checking the instrument readings with tape extensometer, survey targets and analysing the data on daily basis.Notable Attainments:  Successfully carried out rock mass classification before and after each face blast using Q Value by Barton et al and RMR by Bieniawski.  Dextrously functioned as the In-Charge of Geology department and handled the Power House Complex since its beginning of the excavation till heavy Electro-Mechanical Machinery works.  Awarded as “Best Geologist” by Teesta Urja Pvt Ltd. for the quality outputs.  Resourcefully suggested additional rock support where ever required throughout the tunnel like rock bolt perpendicular to the foliation (in metamorphic terrain), shotcrete, Steel Rib support, chemical/cement grouting, etc.  Proficient in looking after the stability of the Transmission Towers carrying cables of high voltage current.
