Seema Lisa Pandya is a multi-diciplinary artist, acomplished sustaiainability consultant for green building and a graduate professor for sustainable design. She has exhibited works in Mumbai India, The Museum of Contemporary Art-Long Island, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Prospect Park Brooklyn, Governor’s Island NYC, Pioneer Works, Anderson Contemporary, BRIC Arts, Wagner College, FIT, (NYSID) New York School of Interior Design, Kingsland Wildflowers, NoOsphere Arts, and more. Seema and her works have been featured in Time Out NY, NY1 News, Pix11 News, Vogue India, Times of India, Fine Woodworking, gb&d Magazine, a 2022 Super Bowl commercial and more. Her accolades include being an award recipient for 2024 (NYSCA) New York State Council on the Arts project grant, an 2023 Ankhlave Arts Alliance Public Art Fellow, The Foundation for Contemporary Arts grant, and 2024 Brooklyn Arts Council – Brooklyn Arts Fund and Creative Equations Fund: Cultural Heritage & Diversity grants. Seema contributes to growing a vibrant diverse arts community. She was a (NYFA) New York Foundation on the Arts - Immigrant Artist program mentor, an advisor on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee at NYSID, was a panelist for Asian Arts Alliance’s "Art, Environment, and Justice in a Changing World", and currently serves on the Board of the Brooklyn Raga Massive music collective.In terms of sustainable building, Seema is a LEED Accredited professional (since 2007) and managed over 80 sustainable building certifications, is a LEED reviewer for the GBCI and reviewed over 250 projects, a graduate professor of sustainable design at FIT SUNY and NYSID, and has been a Senior Sustainability Manager at YR&G with over 15 years experience expertise relating to green building strategies, design assistance, LEED, WELL, LBC and other green building coordination and documentation, project management, interior architecture, and green design education.
