In my current position at UST Global Solutions, I hold the role of a Transmission Engineer with a focus on Radio Access Network (RAN) management. My expertise encompasses the intricacies of Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Plesiochronous Digital Hierarchy (PDH), Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), as well as microwave transmission equipment. I am entrusted with the critical responsibilities of overseeing service assurance and end-to-end fault management for our esteemed Australian client, Optus Network.

As the Fault Management Team lead, I oversee troubleshooting activities for DWDM systems, including Nokia PSS-8, PSS-16II, and Huawei equipment. My responsibilities include L1 analysis, task assignment for field visits, and resolution of network hardware and transmission alarms. I handle trouble tickets, conduct daily health checks, and configure services for Nokia-1830 PSS-8 & PSS-16II, focusing on ODU4, Extreme Layer-100G & 200G. Additionally, I coordinate with field engineers, initiate bridge calls for major outages, and ensure prompt resolution of zero traffic cells and TRU outages. In my role, I address and resolve zero traffic cells and TRU outages, conduct NMS level knowledge transfer sessions for trainee engineers, and generate reports on active alarms, history alarms, and handover & change requests. I actively participate in technical bridges during critical P1 outages, coordinating with Fault Management (FM) and Incident Management (IM) teams. Additionally, I monitor integrated Flexi Multi Radio sites (GSM), manage voice/mail escalations for network element alarms based on the escalation matrix, and provide comprehensive training on processes and report creation.

In my present capacity at UST Global Solutions, I serve as a Transmission Engineer specializing in the management of Radio Access Network (RAN).
