My mission was to enhance and assure the quality of client and project data in our customer relationship management (CRM) system and accounting system (Deltek Vision), including:● Keeping client data up to date using information available online (just call me the Google Queen!). ─ Special focus on client and billing contacts for active projects and accuracy of client addresses. ─ For new clients, adding C-level contacts not already in our CRM system. ─ Less rigorous QA of other client contacts (at minimum, determining whether they'd changed jobs).● Safeguarding old data. ─ Special focus on identification and ongoing cleanup of outdated client names.● Examining data potentially used by future clients and projects (especially pipeline and “child” orgs, part of a healthcare system).Besides updates to and management of client and project data, my job description included:● Ad hoc training of, communicating with, and supporting consultants (mostly project managers) in their use of CRM and Vision related to new clients and projects.● Documentation of – and suggestions for enhancements to – client and project procedures, tasks, and responsibilities to increase efficiency.● Creating and maintaining a departmental procedure manual for Vision billing and quality assurance.
