As a research student under ‘NATIONAL FIELD EXPERIENCE’ program of icddr,b I did my thesis work in virology lab on Hepatitis C Virus (HCV). My thesis title was ‘The epidemiology and genetic characterization of HCV in Bangladesh’. I did ELISA from blood serum sample to measure Antibodies to HCV, extract viral RNA (from positive sample), run one step RT-PCR.
