Actualmente me encuentro desempeñando funciones administrativas y de coordinación en la Facultad de Ingeniería, Arquitectura y Diseño de la Universidad San Sebastián.Mantengo mis labores como secretario de estudios del programa de Doctorado en Biología Computacional y asumí además como secretario de la Dirección de Investigación de la facultad.

I participated in a couple of courses at the PhD in Computational Biology and was appointed academic secretary of the program in march 2022, although I began dealing with administrative tasks mid-2021.

This project involved characterizing the heterodimerization of G-Protein Coupled Receptors using protein-protein docking and molecular dynamics simulations.

I continued my research on the organic/inorganic interphase by studying other organic molecules supported on solid surfaces for applications in nanotechnology, via molecular dynamics simulations. This was also the topic of my PhD thesis.

I began and completed my undergraduate thesis on molecular dynamics simulations of linear alkanes supported on solid surfaces, using the NAMD simulation package.

I began exploring the world of molecular dynamics simulations during my time there.Besides completing some tutorials on the use of VMD and NAMD, I did some research on the non-bondend interaction between single-walled carbon nanotubes and single-stranded DNA.
