Carries out and translates technical analyses of macroeconomic, debt, trade, fiscal policy, and growth linkages into policy recommendations and cross-country lessonsGenerates 'economic think pieces' and 'best practices' studies, handles complex economic, institutional and program implementation issues,o Contributes to the country and sector strategies; makes recommendations on strategies and policy optionso Coordinates and produces major/complex country economic, research and policy reports Initiate the self-assessment of the Public Expenditure framework assessment (PEFA) and supervise the team of implementing the PEFA self-assessment,  Coordinate with EU, USAID and other donors concerning technical assistance & capacity building for the PFM within the MoF, Coordinate with all sectors and Authorities affiliated to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) concerning performing the PFM reform agenda and strategy, Analyze the potential risks of the General Budget performance and the Budget performance of the Economic Authorities and Units Perform Risk analysis for the PFM performance that may threaten the Ministry to achieve its own strategic, business and operational objectives in cooperation with all the MoF affiliated sectors and authorities. Cooperate with macro fiscal policies unit and other related sectors affiliated to Ministry of Finance in order to analyze the fiscal risks associated to governmental budget projections. Prepare a general liabilities report ( continent liabilities and debt ) which issued regularly and some other regular reports. Studying topics related to the PFM reforms and make the necessary actions ,such as expressing the technical opinions to the vice Minister or the concerned officials and coordinate with other parties related to the topic. Prepare analytical studies for SOEs focusing on the root causes of weakness and ending with recommendation.- Analyze fiscal and debt sustainability

 Participate in formulating the PFM reform strategy in cooperation with the World bank and the concerned international development partners. Coordinate with all sectors and Authorities affiliated to the Ministry of Finance (MoF) concerning performing the PFM reform agenda, Initiate the self-assessment of the Public Expenditure framework assessment (PEFA) for the first time in Egypt and supervise the team of implementing the PEFA self-assessment, which is based on the completing number of indicators and dimensions developed by PEFA supported by evidential documents for providing a brief overview of the performance of PFM at specific points and completed by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the PFM with time changes in cooperation with all the concerned entities and authorities to have a consolidated report on the PFM performance in order to have a clear strategy transmitting the weakness points into opportunities,  Perform Risk analysis for the PFM performance that may threaten the Ministry to achieve its own strategic, business and operational objectives in cooperation with all the MoF affiliated sectors and authorities. Cooperate with macro fiscal policies unit and other related sectors affiliated to Ministry of Finance in order to analyze the financial risks associated to governmental budget projections. Participate with PFM unit team in preparing the contingent liabilities report which issued regularly and some other regular reports. Participate with the PFM unit team in studying topics related to the PFM reforms and make the necessary actions ,such as expressing the technical opinions to the Minister or the concerned officials and coordinate with other parties related to the topic. Preparing analytical studies for some Economic Authorities and units focusing on the root causes for the weakness and ending with recommendations for solving the existing problems.
