• Demonstrate an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility.• Organize and direct all engineering forces in the project organization.• Assist the Project Director with the resolution of engineering issues and determination of solutions.• Coordinate engineering matters with the client and subcontractors.• Establish design engineering procedures.• Participate in weekly/monthly project meetings with client.• Review and approve engineering documents i.e. drawings, specifications and requisitions.• Plan and direct receiving, distribution, and filing of drawings and specifications through the Document Controller.• Assure the latest drawings and other engineering documents are maintained and accessible to all personnel in the offices and that subcontractors have the latest revisions.• Assure the drawings and other engineering documents issued for construction accessible to all concerned personnel on site.• Assure development of complete engineering records for the project record.• Authorize requisitions for materials and subcontracting in regard to technical matters.• Report change/supplemental work related to engineering to the Control Group. Prepare description of change proposal.• Ensure that engineering work proceeds in accordance with the quality assurance plan.• Review all non-conformance and concession reports.• Prepare the disposition plan for non-conformance items, in accordance with the QA/QC procedure and authorizes disposition plan.• Interpret designs drawings and specifications and provides technical advice to construction department and QA/QC department explaining requirements of engineering and design specifications consistent with good construction practice.• Answer the queries raised by construction personnel to support construction program.• Coordinate turnover procedure efforts among all parties concerned, including compilation of the documents required for facilities turnover to the client

• Responsible for issue of all electrical deliverable documents. Where applicable, control and coordinate engineering subcontractors for preparation of electrical deliverables• Communication with other engineering disciplines, project management, subcontractors, client according to the project needs• Takes care of cost, schedule, material quantity and budget control for electrical• Technical evaluation of proposals received from vendors & manufacturers and preparation of comparison table • Preparation of necessary drawings, documentation, and bill of quantity for electrical materials with auxiliary parts for industrial and power plant projects.• Preparation of technical data sheets/ specifications for electrical works• Technical Evaluation of Proposals received from Vendors & Manufacturer’s and preparation of comparison table • Assistance to industrial plant pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up activities if it is necessary.

Project Management Part• Preparing technical and financial offers for control and protection panels, Transformer Monitoring & Diagnostic Systems and Power SCADA Systems according to technical specifications.• Collecting offers from internal or external subcontractor and supplier companies, leading the negotiation process and deals.• Controlling subcontractors and suppliers for quality of the goods and making sure that everything is going to be ready for internal manufacturing or shipment of the project.• Fallowing the suppliers and subcontractors lead and delivery times to be sure everything is on the planned time line and liquid flow of the project.• Coordinating the internal and external departments or companies to make different branches like logistic, finance, engineering to work accordingly for the project.Technical Part• Drawing seconder projects for substations according to technical specifications.• Construction of control and protection panel and cabinets according to projects and technical specifications.• Performing short-circuit Calc. settings & Relay Protection coordination according to project and technical specifications.• Preparing digital and analog I/O lists for SCADA systems and configuration for RTUs & Bay Controllers according to projects and technical specifications.• Preparing protection and communication settings for protection relays (Busbar, Distance, Differential, Over current, Under/Over Voltage Relays)• Performing SAT, Commissioning for Protection Relays• Performing FAT, Commissioning, installation and SAT for the manufactured panels.• Preforming, FAT and Commissioning for Energy and Substation SCADA according to projects and technical specifications.• Installation and commissioning for Transformer Monitoring & Diagnostic System for power transformers.• Preparing technical and financial offers for control and protection panels, Transformer M&D Systems and Power SCADA Systems according to technical specifications.
