Created an underwater robotics and acoustic communications simulator via an extension framework designed for the USARSim platform. Work performed in C, C++ using Qt and Unreal Engine for the simulation tasks.Developed and implemented using OpenCV and C++ an automatic 3D point cloud registration algorithm to enable SLAM and derive navigational maps and robot odometry via pose estimation.
