My day to day responsibilities in this role were as follows: Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.  Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.  Perform system testing (SIT), User acceptance testing (UAT),Regression testing (RT), black box functional testing, and white box testing.  Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.  Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.  Support Methodologist in development and maintaining relevant methodology for domain.  Support Methodologist in competency building of CoE staff on development methodology and tooling within domain.  Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables. Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan. Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes. Ensure quality assurance life cycle is followed in the every development project/change request. Coordinate and liaison with the Project Manager, Change Manager and Architect Collect findings from QA cycle and share with stakeholders to improve overall quality of deliverables Execute test cases to ensure deliverables meet functional and quality requirements Develop and maintain test strategy, governance and tools for changes and projects.

I worked at Wiseman Innovations as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer. The main focus of Wiseman is on the US Health care Sector and all the products of the company are relevant to the Health care field. My main responsibilities as part of a functional QA team included the following: Discuss software requirement specifications with Team to understand customer requirements  Coordinate & communicate with Team members in case of any query or clarifications required regarding SRS or customer requirements.  Provide realistic estimates for all the assigned tasks (i.e. related to project/support). Design test cases as per the requirements of the customers communicated. Ensure signoff from development team before initiating QC process. Ensure deployment of system/application in the QC environment for testing. Perform tests and ensure error free and bug free products/ application. Report and communicate bugs/errors to the relevant team through error reporting tools. Re-test the product/application after resolution of errors/bugs by the developers. Properly document all the errors/bugs reported and corrective actions taken. Exceed client’s requirement by always meeting set quality standards. Ensure on time submission of time sheets and update status on project server. Perform peer review of other QA team members’ work, and get my work peer reviewed by others.  Running performance testing using Jmeter where required.

I worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer as part of a cross-functional Scrum Team. Some of my key activities included: Review documentation (scenarios) to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable. Analyze User stories and Write alternative test scenario. Validate the scenarios. Perform functional and non- functional testing during the sprint. Providing realistic estimates for all the tasks of sprint.  Report the defects found during testing. Ensure that reported bugs are fixed before the end of sprint. Acting as a Proxy PO for my Team and to provide quick feedback where needed.

I worked as QA at Broadpeak Technologies in an agile development environment with frequently changing requirements and features set. The project that I was mainly involved with was called "nCompass", which is a web based ERP Solution for franchises, with its corresponding mobile app (IOS & Android). I delivered 13 sprints successfully with my Team. Some of the my key responsibilities and daily activities included the following: Performing impact analysis and developing test cases for the relevant changes/features of the system. Using Microsoft test management tool and Team Foundation server to manage projects and log defects. Performing testing of web based ERP Solution system. Performing testing for Android and IOS applications for the ERP system. Reviewing product requirement documents, functional specifications and involvement in developing test strategy, test plan and test case documents. Interacting with Business Analysts and Software Developers for bug reviews and participated in QA meetings.
